Idolized comes with a price most may pay, but some might choose to refuse to do the dues, even when imposed by their more experienced superiors sharing the same ambitions to rise above their current position.
At the very least, Idolized is a beautiful reminder to do unto others as you would have them do unto you, but perhaps with a different point of view, than you.

Idolized is superbly written and directed by Megan Mathiesen, produced by Gabrielle Dolinsky, starring and beautifully played by Jordan Schramka as middle management Charlotte challenged by: will she, or won’t she do what it takes to make her boss Naomi (Caitlin Bassett) appear to be the idol she coldly, yet passionately exudes as example for the next generation of aspiring young businesswomen.

In addition to these two leading ladies’ stellar characterizations, a number of believable performances, in front of the camera are enhanced by the tremendous cinematography, lighting and sound design – thet latter executed quite powerfully by Haina Zhou – all raising this short film to a higher calling – that of creating characters on screen who inspire us to examine our own lives and how we wish to live them.
The twenty minutes of Idolized sizzle with self-awareness climaxing with self-realization. See it and make the choice you can live with.
